The nursing workforce has been deeply disrupted due to a worsening nursing shortage, deteriorating ability to forecast needs, and the rise of a gig economy. Nurse leaders require tools to design, evaluate, and implement customized and flexible nurse staffing models that adapt to the changing labor landscape. Medecipher’s decision support tool, FLO, enhances current scheduling tools by combining predictive and optimization technologies to make better use of available resources and data. FLO helps nurse leaders design, evaluate, and implement customized staffing models that align the competencies and preferences of an individual nurse to the patient care needs of the healthcare system.

We were challenged by experts from the MedTech ecosystem to reimagine how our technology can solve critical clinical operational challenges across diverse clinical areas, and how to integrate with existing practices and initiatives to speed adoption. We are currently validating our go-to-market strategy, and working on a partnership for product assessment with Mayo clinic.

"We’re learning every day how our solution could address new challenges and areas throughout the health system. We are extremely optimistic that we will be successful in tackling a variety of operational inefficiencies and measure the impact of our innovative optimization models that translates not only to financial impacts to our clients, but to higher quality care."
